CHERRY VALLEY — The Cherry Valley City Council will consider signs north and south of the city and Air Tags for the city’s bicycle program when it meets tonight.

The city began the program to offer bikes for the community to borrow. However, the bikes recently went missing before being returned. Aldermen will consider adding Air Tags to the bikes in case they go missing again.

The council will also discuss cleaning ditches on White Drive, terms for council members and a Sure Fire Check. It will also review its park expense and fire payroll reports, its mower lease with John Deere and the city’s contracts with Vanndale-Birdeye Water and Jason’s Junk Removal.

The Cherry Valley City Council will meet at 6 p.m. at Cherry Valley City Hall.

The Wynne City Council and Hickory Ridge City Council will also meet tonight.

The Wynne City Council will meet at 6 p.m. at Wynne City Hall. Wynne aldermen will consider a resolution to update the 2026 parks budget and an ordinance to lease and finance a roll-off truck. Jerry Brewster has also requested to address the council.

The Hickory Ridge City Council will also meet at 6 p.m. at Hickory Ridge City Hall.
