The Cross County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee has named Hank Bostick, a junior at Cross County High School, as the Cross County March Ag Student of the Month. Bostick, 17, was nominated by Jackson Poe, agriculture advisor and trap coach. His parents are Allen Bostick and Bethany Holley. He received a T-shirt, cup, and certificate for his award.

Bostick has been in FFA since the 7th grade. He is the junior advisor. Some of his community service projects include Wynne tornado clean-up and volunteering at the Tornado Distribution Center. He also helps with lawn care for people who can’t do it themselves.

Bostick has assisted in fundraisers for FFA such as the current bulb bowl sale and also selling food at games. These fundraisers make it possible for students to go on trips and to help with FFA projects. He attends Vanndale Baptist Church and helps with the youth group when he can.

After graduation, Bostick plans on attending plumbing school and starting his own business. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and building things.
