WYNNE — A blood drive will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, in memory of Jean Simpkins.
The blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wynne Baptist Church gymnasium.
Simpkins, who taught in the Wynne School District for over 30 years, died in September 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Simpkins’ family said she received numerous units of blood while receiving cancer treatments for over 20 years.
Donors can make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org and enter WynneBC. Those donating blood between Sept. 21 and Oct. 18 can receive a $15 e-gift card.
