FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Billy Richmond III will return for his junior season at the University of Arkansas. He made that announcement yesterday.
Richmond tested the draft waters of the NBA. The deadline to withdraw was at 11 p.m. last night.
Richmond was on the SEC All-Defensive Team as a sophomore last season. He averaged 11.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals a game.
The Razorbacks are still awaiting a decision from freshman Maleek Thomas. Thomas is projected to be a late first round pick if he remains in the draft.
Darius Acuff Jr., the SEC Player and Freshman of the Year, remained in the draft and is projected to be a lottery pick.
The draft is June 23-24 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
