The Arkansas Community Foundation has released its 2023 annual report, showing the financial impact it made in the Natural State last year.
The Arkansas Community Foundation said it distributed more than $47 million in grants in 2023. That includes the areas of Wynne and Central Arkansas impacted by the tornadoes on March 31. The foundation said more than $1.2 million was raised in donations statewide for long-term tornado recovery in those areas.
The foundation also made 499 grants to local nonprofits totaling more than $686,000 through its Giving Tree program.
